Vishwanathar Temple in Thiruppaingneeli or Thirupanjali, also known as Gneeliwaneswarar Temple, is a Hindu temple located 20 kilometres north of Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. Neelnedunkanni, also known as Visalashi, is the presiding god.  Unmarried men and women looking for partners frequent the temple. Inscriptions from Raja Raja Chola I and Rajendra Chola I can be found. Mahendravarman I is thought to have built the Soundareeswara shrine within the temple about 640 AD.
